Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, the world's top pound-for-pound boxer, is gearing up for an action-packed 2025. The 34-year-old champ has plans for a new tattoo and is eyeing potential fights to cement his legacy.

Canelo's next bout is set for May 2025 against William Scull. The Mexican superstar is expected to come out on top, showcasing the power and skill that's made him a dominant force in boxing.

After the fight, Canelo plans to add some new ink to his collection. He's going to get a wolf tattoo on the upper part of his chest, close to his shoulder. Fans have shown their support for this decision, eager to see the final result.

Looking ahead, Canelo is keeping his options open for the second half of the year. There's talk about possible matchups with Terence Crawford or David Benavidez, though nothing's set in stone yet. Benavidez has been vocal about wanting a shot at Canelo, but we'll have to wait and see if that fight comes to fruition.

When asked about his future in the sport, Canelo shared his thoughts on retirement:

"From 28-29 years old, at this age is where I felt best. I have always said that at 37 years old is a good age to enjoy what I have done with my family, other things in my career and that's what I say; but I said I would debut at 18 and I did it at 15."

This gives Canelo about 3-4 more years in the ring, but as he pointed out, plans can change.

The champ also expressed interest in fighting at Mexico City's Estadio Azteca before hanging up his gloves. He said:

"Yes, I'm interested in fighting at the Estadio Azteca. I would love to have a fight before I retire at the Azteca."

Outside the ring, Canelo's making moves to secure his future in the sport. He's partnered with Turki Al-Sheikh to bring big boxing events to Saudi Arabia, a move that could keep him at the top financially even after he stops fighting.

Despite his historic career and continued success, Canelo still faces criticism from some quarters. But with several years left in his prime and big plans on the horizon, he's clearly focused on adding more achievements to his already impressive resume.
