Mike Tyson thinks David Benavidez can't be beaten in boxing right now. The former heavyweight champ shared his thoughts about the rising star in a recent interview.

Tyson, now 59, knows a thing or two about boxing. He became the youngest heavyweight champion ever at 20, a record that still stands today. These days, he watches the sport closely and shares his views.

Tyson gave Benavidez a cool nickname - 'The Mexican Monster'. He's impressed with the 28-year-old fighter, who used to be the super-middleweight champ twice. Benavidez has moved up to light-heavyweight and is now the top challenger for both the WBC and WBA titles.

"I like him against everybody," Tyson said in an interview with ESNews. "He's so underrated but so over-polarised here. Listen, I'd be afraid to fight him too if I was in that division. No one even has a chance against him, and I'm talking facts."

Benavidez has been on a roll lately. He beat Oleksandr Gvozdyk and David Morrell in impressive fights. He wanted to fight Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, the unified 168lb champion, but that didn't happen.

Now, Benavidez has his sights set on Dmitry Bivol, the undisputed champion at light-heavyweight. There's talk about a fight between them, but nothing's confirmed yet. If that doesn't work out, he might face Callum Smith instead.

Tyson's praise for Benavidez is a big deal. The former champ doesn't think anyone in the division stands a chance against him. That's high praise from someone who knows what it takes to dominate in the ring.
