Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois might face off again in the ring. Carl Froch, a respected boxing analyst, thinks this rematch could be a big deal for both fighters.

Usyk, the current undisputed heavyweight champion, has already proven himself at the top. He unified the heavyweight titles and beat Tyson Fury twice. Now, he wants to become a two-time undisputed heavyweight ruler.

On the other side, Dubois has made some big moves lately. He got elevated to IBF champion after beating Filip Hrgovic. Then, he shocked everyone by knocking out Anthony Joshua last September. That win at Wembley Stadium was a huge boost for Dubois' career.

The first time these two fought was back in August 2023 in Poland. Usyk had the crowd on his side, but Dubois started strong. He even knocked Usyk down with a body shot, but the ref called it a low blow. Usyk bounced back and ended up knocking out Dubois in the ninth round.

Now, talks are starting up for a rematch. Carl Froch shared his thoughts about it in a recent interview.

"If Usyk fights Dubois and does the business then you're hanging your gloves up for me. You've achieved everything and you've then given Dubois a chance to redeem himself after that low-blow stroke body shot and answered all the questions. You're fighting a guy that's a lot younger and got a lot of experience now. It's a brave move from Usyk and he's got nothing left to prove."

Froch thinks this could be Usyk's last fight if he wins. He sees it as a gutsy move from Usyk, who's already done it all in boxing.

Dubois has a choice to make. He can defend his title against Joseph Parker or go for the big one against Usyk. A fight with Parker was planned for February but got cancelled when Dubois fell ill.

This rematch would be a chance for Dubois to prove himself against the top guy in the division. He's younger than Usyk and has gained more experience since their first fight.

For Usyk, it's about cementing his legacy. He's already said he wants to be a two-time undisputed heavyweight champ. Beating Dubois again would definitely help with that goal.

We'll have to wait and see what happens next. But one thing's for sure – if this rematch does happen, it'll be a big event in the boxing world.
