Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford are set to face off in a super-middleweight bout this September. The fight will push Crawford up two weight classes, but former heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs thinks he's got what it takes to win by knockout.

Crawford's making a big jump. He'll move up 14 pounds from super-welterweight, where he just won the WBA World Title against Israil Madrimov last August. That win marked his fourth division conquered, matching Canelo's own achievement.

Alvarez has been here before. He's fought 66 times and lost only twice - both on points to Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol. He's never been knocked down and rarely looks hurt. At super-middleweight, he's undefeated.

Before facing Crawford, Canelo's got a date with IBF Champion William Scull in May. He wants to become undisputed champion again.

But Shannon Briggs, who knows a thing or two about knockouts with 37 in the first round alone, sees it differently. He told Fight Hub TV:

"Yeah, he gonna do it. He gonna win. He's gonna win by knockout. He's gonna do whatever he has to do. He's gonna dog him, he's gonna be strong, he's gonna throwing hard punches. He knows this is what he wanted all his life. I've known him since he was a little kid. 10, 11-years-old. He can fight, and he's gonna win. Trust me, I'm telling y'all."

Briggs points to Crawford's skill and determination. He's known Crawford since he was a kid and believes in him completely.

Many in boxing think the weight jump's too much for Crawford. They reckon Canelo's chin and experience will be too much. We'll find out this September when these two champions clash.
