Derek Chisora believes Joe Joyce will beat Dillian Whyte in their upcoming heavyweight clash. The veteran boxer shared his prediction during a recent interview with talkSPORT.

Chisora didn't mince words when asked about the April 5 fight. He said, "My money's on Joe Joyce. I believe my money is on Joe Joyce."

The bout between Whyte and Joyce is a crucial one for both fighters. They're at a point in their careers where a loss could have serious consequences. Frank Warren, the event's promoter, even stated that the careers of both men are "on the line."

Joyce is coming off two straight losses to Zhilei Zhang. Whyte hasn't fought since his April 2022 defeat to Tyson Fury in his first world title shot. A win for either fighter could mean one last chance at the top level, while a loss might spell the end of their time in the spotlight.

Chisora's prediction carries weight given his history with both fighters. He's faced Whyte twice, losing a close points decision in their first meeting and getting knocked out in the rematch. As for Joyce, Chisora actually beat him by unanimous decision in July 2024, in what was Chisora's 48th professional fight.

"My money's on Joe Joyce. I believe my money is on Joe Joyce."

Chisora himself is coming off a points win over Otto Wallin in his 49th pro bout. He's hinted at retirement after his 50th fight, capping off a career that's seen him face top heavyweights like Vitali Klitschko, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk.

The Whyte vs Joyce event will also feature an intriguing cruiserweight clash between Richard Riakporhe and Lawrence Okolie on the undercard. Boxing fans will be eager to see if Chisora's prediction comes true when the heavyweights step into the ring on April 5.
