Anthony Joshua's Team Issues Bold Challenge to Tyson Fury: "It's Now or Never"

Fury stepped away from boxing at the start of January with a quick social media post. He made this decision after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk. Their first fight in May saw Fury narrowly lose on points with all four belts and undisputed honors at stake. In the rematch, Fury lost again, marking his second professional defeat.

Joshua also had a tough time recently. He lost to Dubois in September, following two earlier losses to Usyk.

A fight between Fury and Joshua would be huge for British boxing. Fans have wanted to see these two face off for years. Now, there's a chance it might happen, but only if Fury acts fast.

Hearn laid out the conditions on The Ariel Helwani Show. He said:

"When you talk about Tyson Fury, he would need to come out of retirement in the next couple of weeks to fight 'AJ' next because 'AJ' is looking to fight himself, twice this year, first one in the summer, June, whenever that is going to be, then again at the end of the year. If Fury doesn't come out of retirement soon that fight is not going to happen next."

Joshua plans to fight twice this year. He wants his first bout in the summer, around June, and another at the end of the year. If Fury waits too long, he'll miss his chance to face Joshua next.

Right now, Fury hasn't said anything about changing his mind. He's still retired. Fans will have to wait and see if he decides to make a comeback for this big fight.
