Davis is outraged by the fan appeal

Gervonta Davis, the WBA lightweight champion of the world, has responded to calls from fans to organize his bout with Naoya Inoue, who is the outright world champion in the second lightweight division.

"I'm the only fighter you want in the ring with everyone else. It doesn't matter the weight! How the hell is that possible?" - Davis wrote on his social media page.
