The two boxers have a long history. They've known each other since their teen years as amateur rivals. Their first pro fight happened last year, and it was full of drama.

Garcia came in 3 pounds over the weight limit. He knocked Haney down three times and won by majority decision. But the victory didn't last long. Garcia tested positive for a banned substance called Ostarine. The result was changed to a no-contest. Garcia got hit with a big fine of over $1 million and a one-year ban from boxing.

Now, Garcia says Canelo Alvarez thinks he'll have an easy win in the rematch. Canelo, the current unified super-middleweight champ, used to train with Garcia. But Haney fired back on social media.

He had to ask canelo now that he "clean".. Nelo can't fight for him tho

Haney's tweet reminded everyone about Garcia's failed drug test.

Before they can fight each other again, both boxers have tough matches in May. Haney will face Jose Ramirez, while Garcia takes on Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz. If they both win, we'll see them in the ring together at the end of 2025.

Garcia's suspension will end in April, just in time for his May fight. The rematch deal was set up by Turki Alalshikh, a big name in boxing.

Their first fight left fans with a lot of questions. Garcia acted strangely, and some people thought he shouldn't have been allowed to fight. Now, both boxers have a chance to prove themselves in the ring once again.
