Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury again, this time by unanimous decision. The fight in December made Usyk the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
Their first fight in May ended with Usyk winning by split decision. The ninth round stood out as Fury got hurt badly. For the rematch, Usyk came in confident and showed better movement and combination punching.
Fury and his team didn't agree with the judges' unanimous decision. But Tony Bellew, a former cruiserweight champ who once fought Usyk, changed his mind after watching the fight a few times.
"I thought it was close on the night. But after watching it three times, Usyk was in complete control from start to finish. He out-hustled and out-punched Fury in almost every round. He dominated Fury and was decisive in every movement."
Even Frank Warren, who works with Fury, doesn't think it was a bad decision anymore. He still backs his fighter, but he's changed his tune from calling it a robbery.
Bellew scored the fight for Usyk by two rounds at first. Now he thinks Usyk won by three or four rounds.
"No disrespect to Tyson Fury, he's always going to struggle with a fighter like Oleksandr Usyk."
After the loss, Fury said he's retiring from boxing. He hinted that the 'robbery' played a part in his decision. But many people think he'll fight again.
Meanwhile, Usyk wants to fight the winner of the IBF Champion Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker bout. That fight's set for February 22.
