Floyd Mayweather Names Heavyweight Who'd Beat Prime Mike Tyson: "He's Just Too Big"

Floyd Mayweather thinks Vitali Klitschko would beat Mike Tyson in his prime. The five-weight world champion shared this view in a recent chat with Mail Sport Boxing.

Mayweather, known for his box office draw and record-breaking pay-per-view numbers, was asked about dream matchups in the heavyweight division. His pick might surprise many fight fans who see Tyson as unbeatable in his heyday.

'Iron Mike' ruled the heavyweight scene in the 80s and 90s. He knocked out big names like Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes, and Frank Bruno. But Mayweather reckons he'd struggle against the elder Klitschko brother.

"I feel Tyson would come unstuck against Vitali Klitschko,"
Mayweather said in the interview.

Vitali Klitschko's record stands at 45 wins and just 2 losses, with 41 of those wins coming by knockout. He defended his world heavyweight title 12 times before retiring due to injury in 2004. But that wasn't the end of his story.

Klitschko came back in 2008 to beat Samuel Peter for the WBC crown. He and his brother Wladimir then dominated the heavyweight division for years.

While fans debate this dream matchup, Tyson's got a real fight on his hands. He'll face Jake Paul on November 15 at AT&T; Stadium in Texas. It'll be the first live boxing event on Netflix.

Paul's last opponent seems pretty sure about how it'll go down. But with Tyson involved, you never know what might happen.
