Saul Alvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs) has announced that he would like a rematch with Artur Beterbiev (23-0, 12 KOs) next spring if the 33-year-old fighter beats Artur Beterbiev in October.
The first fight between Canelo and Bivol took place more than two years ago. The Mexican lost by unanimous decision and it was his only defeat in the last decade.
Alvarez will return to the ring tonight, crossing gloves with Edgar Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs). The Mexican boxer, who defeated Jaime Munguia in May, confirmed that this will be his last fight of the year.
