Anthony Joshua's Next Payday Leaves Tyson Fury's 'Retirement' Figure in the Dust

'AJ' Joshua has been on a good run lately. He's knocked out his last three opponents - Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou. Now he's going for his fourth straight win and a chance to become a three-time world champion.

Dubois has also made a name for himself recently. He's coming off impressive stoppage victories over Fillip Hrgovic and Jarrell Miller. The IBF recently elevated Dubois to belt holder status after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the title to focus on his rematch with Tyson Fury.

The Joshua-Dubois fight will pack Wembley Stadium with 96,000 fans. Riyadh Season's Turki Alalshikh got approval to increase the capacity, beating the previous record of 94,000 set by Fury vs Whyte in 2022.

After that fight, Fury said:

"What a welcome I had tonight in front of 94,000 of my fellow countrymen. What a night. I single-handedly sold out 94,000 tickets. I pat myself on the back for that."

Fury briefly retired after beating Whyte, saying he had achieved everything in boxing. But eight months later, he returned to face Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Now Fury is coming off his first professional loss to Usyk in May, where he lost the undisputed world heavyweight title. He'll get a chance for revenge against Usyk soon.

Tickets for Joshua vs Dubois start around £75. The event will have a strong undercard to back up the main event.

If Fury beats Usyk in their rematch and Joshua takes care of Dubois, we could see an epic undisputed contest between Fury and Joshua early next year. That fight would likely pack Wembley again and might even set another attendance record.

The heavyweight division is heating up, and British boxing fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
