Ukrainian super heavyweight Lovchynskyi lost by knockout in his first fight at the Olympics

Ukrainian boxer Dmytro Lovchynskyy, who competes in the super heavyweight category, lost early to Australian Teremoane Junior in the first round of the Olympic Games-2024 in Paris.

Teremoana won a confident victory, knocking out Lovchinsky in the first round. Before that, the Ukrainian suffered two knockdowns.

Recall that Ukraine has two representatives in boxing at the Olympic Games 2024. Tomorrow, July 30, Oleksandr Khizhnyak (up to 80 kg) will have his first fight at the tournament, and Aider Abduraimov (up to 57 kg) will enter the ring on July 31.
