Former four weight class world champion Roy Jones paid tribute to the skills of WBA lightweight titleholder Gervonta Davis.
"Davis is one of the best. He's really one of the best pound-for-pound fighters. Gervonta can punch, but he can also box. Some pound-for-pound fighters can't box. Davis can both box and punch, he's able to get out of the way.
He can do everything a lefty needs to do to get the job done. That says a lot about him because not many fighters today are able to do that. Gervonta and Terence Crawford are the two best fighters right now based on how they prepare their attacks," Jones said.
Recall that on June 16 in the main event of the evening of boxing in Las Vegas, USA, Davis stopped Frank Martin in the eighth round.
