Sosnowski spoke about Khizhnyak's form ahead of OI-2024

Dmytro Sosnovsky, head coach of the Ukrainian national boxing team, said in what form the leader of the national team Oleksandr Khizhnyak approaches the upcoming Olympic Games-2024.

"His health is normal. He has already been under full loads, he is already going through the training camp in full. The only thing is that, maybe, such a reservation: a little bit we did not have time to take part in some good international tournaments. Because he finished the treatment, then rehabilitation and then it's his third training camp according to an individual plan. We create conditions, we work. Everything is going according to the plan. He is a silver medalist of the previous Olympics, world champion, European champion, European Games. He has a lot of experience. He has tried everything. He was very close to the Olympic gold medal. Of course, there will be a greater psychological load on the guys who got to the Olympics for the first time. His morale is good, his attitude is good. He was going for it. His attitude - he is really going for the gold medal," Sosnovsky said.
