Former light heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk told us what tactics he followed in his fight with David Benavides.
"He misses punches, but when he's defending near the ropes, it's actually very difficult to hit the target hard. Also, I could see that he was trying to catch me with quick punches. I caught him very well with a right uppercut somewhere in the middle of the fight, he definitely felt it, I tried to build on the success, but what I described happened. I thought I was doing better with counterattacks. But, probably, it would be better not to miss these moments," - said Gvozdik.
Recall that on June 16, Gvozdik lost to Benavides by unanimous decision of the judges. At stake was a temporary WBC belt in the light heavyweight division.
