Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC, reacted to the information that legendary Filipino Manny Pacquiao plans to return to the ring.
"I find it interesting. Pacquiao is a legendary boxer, and no doubt he still has a chance to get in the ring. His recent medical tests were satisfactory, he's an elite fighter. We haven't received an official request yet, and I know there is a desire, but we have to wait for something official. Manny Pacquiao has already achieved everything in the ring and he is no more at risk than any other boxer," World Boxing News quoted Suleiman as saying.
