UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards announced his readiness to give a fight to the star conqueror of two divisions Conor McGregor.
However, in order for the organization's leadership to consider the possibility of this confrontation, Edwards needs to defend his title against the claims of Belal Muhammad at the end of July, and McGregor a month earlier - to take on Michael Chandler in his return after a three-year hiatus.
"Let's give Conor a chance to be the UFC champion in three weight classes and give me a chance to take McGregor out. It would be great to have this fight in November in New York. If he beats Michael Chandler and I beat Belal, we can do it. New York, Madison Square Garden, let's go! It's a fight that needs to happen," Edwards said on The MMA Hour show.
