Ukrainian Denis Berinchik (18-0, 9 KOs), a contender for the vacant WBA lightweight title, has spoken out about the possibility of a fight against compatriot Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs), who holds the IBF belt.
"It's a lot of money - it's nice. And this money can be donated to the Ukrainian army. But first we have to do our job on May 18," Boxing Scene quoted Berinchik as saying.
Also Berinchik added that he did not communicate with Lomachenko for four years and refused to comment on the relationship.
Recall that on the night of May 19 in San Diego, USA, Berinchik will have to share the ring with Emmanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs).
