Just yesterday Joaquin Buckley named the names of his desired opponents, mentioning two fighters: Conor McGregor and Gilbert Burns. Already today, the Brazilian responded to Joaquin's challenge, stating his willingness to fight him.
"Let's do it. I'm in a situation where I don't have to challenge and choose. I'm number six in the rankings and if they send me a contract, I'll sign it. I've never turned down a fight and I don't plan on doing it," Burns wrote on his social media accounts.
Gilbert Burns has lost his last two fights in a row, losing by unanimous decision to Belal Muhammad and by knockout to Jack Della Maddalena.
