Dzinziruk - about Usik and Fury fight: "For me it's 50-50 here, I can't single out anyone"

Former world champion Serhiy Dzinziruk shared his thoughts on the upcoming heavyweight title fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

- Who do you favor in the fight between Usik and Fury?

- Man, I'm rooting for Sanka. I really want him to beat that gypsy. But even when we talked with friends, I said that it's 50/50. How the fight goes. Both boxers have their advantages. Sasha is speed, experience, maneuverability, sense of distance. These are his chips, thanks to which he should win.

But we know Fury. How he can punch, how he can endure. He's a big guy. So for me it's 50-50, I can't single out anyone.

- How do you see the development of this fight, its course?

- It's hard to predict anything in boxing. One good punch decides the whole fight. Fury is an unconventional boxer, that's his advantage. He hits from every position and he hits hard. You see what he's like. Not that he's cocky, but he feels like a champion in the ring.

So it's going to be very hard for Sasha to box him. But Sasha, as we've seen in the last few fights, is doing something incredible. He is preparing and I know he will give it his all.

- There is a big difference in weight between Usik and Fury. Can it be decisive in the fight?

- Fury because of his weight, his mass, his height.... Those are all his strengths. And Usik has speed and maneuverability. And thanks to that he should win. That's why I say it's 50-50. Whoever sticks to the plan for the fight for all 12 rounds will win.

- British journalists point out that the torso is Usik's weak point. Do you agree?

- I'll tell you as a boxer. If a punch hits the solar plexus or the liver, no boxer can withstand it. You can't take that kind of pain. But I don't think that the torso is Usik's weak point.
