Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) summarized the results of the fight with Australian George Kambososos Jr. (21-3, 10 KOs), at the stake of which was the vacant IBF title.
"Honestly, I expected a little bit more from Kambososos. We were ready for everything he did in the ring. And I just had to do my job round after round. And as the fight went on, I felt like I could finish George. Did I want to be the first to knockout Kambososos? No, that wasn't my goal. My goal was to become world champion," said Lomachenko in an interview with YouTube channel Fight Hype.
Recall, Lomachenko knocked out Kambososos in the 11th round. The fight took place in Perth, Australia.
