Weidman would like to fight Strickland.

Chris Weidman, former UFC middleweight champion, has stated his desire to fight the likes of former champion Sean Strickland.

"I would love to have a fight with Shawn. I have nothing but respect for Strickland. I think it would be fun. He would help me get over being such a good guy. We could exchange pleasantries with him, have some fun. I would love that fight, and I also like his style. He likes to tire guys out, so I would like to test myself in a fight with a guy like him," - quotes Weidman portal MMAJunkie.

Recall, in his next fight Strickland will meet in the octagon with Paulo Costa.
