In the co-main event of UFC 280 on October 22 in Abu Dhabi, reigning UFC lightweight champion Aljamein Sterling will defend his belt against T.J. Dillashaw.
Sterling took the belt from Petr Yang, then had a successful first defense, again beating the Russian. Aljamain's winning streak now stands at seven fights.
Dillashaw came back to the Octagon in July, 2021, after the doping scandal and only won by split decision over Sandhagen. And now he's got the title shot again.
