WBA flyweight champion Kazuto Ioka (21-1, 13 КО) successfully defended his title via a TKO victory over unbeaten interim titlist Stamp Kiatniwat (15-1, 6 КО), Thailand, at 2:51 of the seventh session on Saturday in Kyoto, Japan. Ioka surprisingly hit the deck with Stamp’s right hook, but it was only a round he lost, and he finally caught Kiatniwat to drop him twice en route to a stoppage.

Oguni sensationally wins IBF title from Guzman

28 years old Japanese Yukinori Oguni (19-1-1, 7 КО) sensationally upset Jonathan Guzman (22-1, 22 КО) of Dominican Repblic by a unanimous decision. All three judges scores the fight 115-112. As a result Oguni captured the IBF junior featherweight belt. Japanese floored Guzman with a body shot in round three.

Returning home for the first time since March of 2015, former world champion Roy Jones Jr. (64-9, 46 KOs) scored a one-sided ten round unanimous decision over “Rocking” Rodney Moore (17-12-2, 7 KOs) in a cruiserweight bout on Saturday night at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Florida. It was mostly a slow-paced affair as the 47-year-old future Hall of Famer Jones, with his hands held low, stalked Moore — who gave very little resistance.
