Joe Rogan, a long-time UFC commentator, spoke out about the use of illegal drugs by fighters while recovering from injuries. Rogan expressed support for the athletes.
“Of course, I support guys who take banned substances to recover from injuries, as I did Conor after a leg injury. This is 100%, I am 100% sure. This was the only way to recover from something like this. No one has ever come back from a catastrophic broken leg. After a broken tibia, no one came back and performed at the same level.”
