Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC, announced that the organization he heads is considering the possibility of introducing two-minute rounds in men's boxing matches.

“We’re even considering testing two-minute rounds in men’s fights. It will be very interesting,” the functionary said.

Let us remind you that just yesterday it became known that Amanda Serrano, the absolute world featherweight champion, decided to renounce the WBC championship belt due to the fact that the organization did not allow her to fight according to the rules of 12 rounds of 3 minutes.
