Paul Malignaggi, a former world champion, shared his not-too-flattering opinion about Ryan Garcia, calling him “a mentally retarded version of Oscar de la Hoya.”
“Ryan Garcia is a retarded version of Oscar De La Hoya. Ryan is not as good as De La Hoya, but he can improve. He has the appearance and physical inclinations. He can become a ladies' man. He owns the money and makes headlines,” Malignaggi said.
Let us remember that last weekend Garcia won ahead of schedule against Oscar Duarte, finishing him in the eighth round.
