Pereira: “I would find a tactic for Ankalaev”
UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira answered the question against whom he would like to make the first defense of the belt.
“Many people call Ankalaev an inconvenient opponent for me. I like it. What if I was only given two options? Hill is certainly more comfortable in style. I’m always focused on winning, so a fight with him would suit me better.
As for Magomed, it would have been more difficult with him. It's an interesting challenge. I agree with the opinion that it would have been difficult for me. But I work hard and continue to improve. I would find a tactic for it. If I had to make a choice, I would choose him over Hill,” Lowkick MMA quotes the Brazilian as saying.
Let us remind you that on November 12 at UFC 295, Pereira knocked out Jiri Prochazka and won the vacant title in the light heavyweight division.
