The UFC is developing a superfight without McGregor's participation

Dana White, CEO of the UFC, announced that his promotion is currently organizing the superfight. The official also said that Conor McGregor, a former UFC champion in two divisions, will not take part in this fight.

“Now we are discussing one super fight. This idea came to us just a few days ago. I can’t discuss this until we all agree. Obviously, every fight with the prefix “super” implies the participation of Conor McGregor, but not this time.”
