“It was a difficult time because I wanted to perform. I accepted fights against Khamzat Chimaev, Dustin Poirier and some other fighters in the division, but they all didn’t want to fight. This made me even more hungry and made me realize how much I love our sport.
I don’t feel truly alive until I’m in the Octagon. I understand that this is the true meaning of my life,” the official UFC website quotes the American.
