Cormier told who he was rooting for in the Makhachev-Volkanovski rematch

Daniel Cormier, a former two-division UFC champion, revealed who he was rooting for in the rematch between Islam Makhachev and Alex Volkanovski.

“When I watched Islam’s fight against Volkanovski, I hoped that Makhachev would perform well. But at the same time, I wanted Volkanovski to do well because I had built a great relationship with the guy. Perhaps not the same level of relationship (as with Makhachev), but I know this guy, I know what a good person he is,” the fighter said.

Let us remind you that in the second fight Makhachev knocked out Volkanovski in the first round.
