Dana White, UFC CEO, explained what, in his opinion, the promotion's light heavyweight champion is about Alex Pereira surpassed the organization's former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
“Alex adapted to MMA in a very short time. I think he even surpassed Israel Adesanya. The guys came out of the same sport. It’s very difficult to change your style and become an MMA fighter,” said the functionary.
Let us remember that after winning the light heavyweight championship belt, Pereira decided to challenge Adesanya.
