Hill: 'Pereira inspired me to come back'

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamal Hill reacted to the early victory of the newly-minted belt holder Alexa Pereira in a duel with Jiri Prochazka at the UFC 295 tournament.

“I think that none of these guys are on my level. I don't think they are perfect in any aspect. I'm looking forward to my recovery so I can show it off.

Pereira did a great job. He immediately “turned off” Jiri’s leg. He remained patient. He demonstrated that you can't just go out and grab him and throw him to the ground. He showed that he was capable of doing at light heavyweight what he did at middleweight. And it’s fascinating. He inspired me to come back,” Hill said on ESPN.

Let us remember that in July Hill renounced the title due to a serious injury.
