Khabib: “When I said how much I would earn, Cormier said it was impossible”

Retired Russian mixed martial arts fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov claims that back in 2012 he predicted his UFC lightweight championship and financial success.

“I told you (addressing Daniel Cormier - editor's note) back in 2012 that I would become a champion. I'll have a 10-0 record in the UFC, I'll be undefeated, 27-0. I won’t tell you the amount, but I told you what fees I will receive. And you replied: “That’s impossible.” In our sport, no one gets paid that much.” And six years later, all this became a reality,” Nurmagomedov said in an interview with ESPN.

Let us remind you that Nurmagomedov hung up his gloves in his victory over Justin Gaethje in the fall of 2020.
