Hardy on Fury-Ngannou fight: “We’ll see three good rounds from Francis”

British mixed martial arts veteran Dan Hardy shared his expectations for the upcoming boxing match between the WBC champion and his compatriot Tyson Fury and former leader of the UFC heavy division Francis Ngannou, which will take place on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

“I think we'll see three good rounds from Ngannou as he tries to mix punches and catch Fury with something. The right thing to do would be to work on Tyson's body because he's great at ducking his head and makes his opponents look really bad.

I think we'll see three, maybe four rounds of boxing from Ngannou, with Fury trying to hold him back with a jab and wear him down. Tyson will eventually start looking for an uppercut with his back hand, a punch that pops into my head as Francis closes the distance and throws punches with a flourish. “I can imagine Fury throwing an uppercut and catching it,” Hardy said in an interview with DAZN.
