Makhachev noted the rebuff that Usman gave to Chimaev

Islam Makhachev, UFC lightweight champion, commented on Khamzat Chimaev’s victory in the fight with Kamaru Usman. Makhachev noted that Usman gave Khamzat a worthy rebuff.

“The fight turned out to be quite competitive, although Usman came out on short notice. This is a guy with a lot of experience. And he took advantage of this experience. Chimaev decided to take him with pressure and pressure. I thought it would be easy, but Usman gave a worthy rebuff.”
