Usman: “I dared to become great, but I couldn’t”

Former dominant UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman made a statement after losing to the undefeated Khamzata Chimaeva at the UFC 294 tournament, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

“I dared to become great, but I couldn’t. Sometimes this is life's path. I try never to complain about the cards I've been dealt. I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams, thank God for everything. We are returning to work and, God willing, we will return,” Usman wrote on Instagram.

Let us remind you that Chimaev won by majority decision.
