Sean Strickland, UFC middleweight champion, believes that Khamzat Chimaev didn't deserve a title shot.
“The only thing I like about Chimaev is that he sells fights. For some reason people fucking like him or don't like him, I don't know. To me he's a fucking big check - he's selling a lot of fights. People pay to watch him, but he didn’t deserve this fight,” Strickland said.
Let us remember that Khamzat beat Kamaru Usman at UFC 294, and before this fight, promotion president Dana White said that the winner would receive a title shot.
