Usman told why he couldn’t cope with Chimaev’s fight

Kamaru Usman, former UFC welterweight champion, explained why he couldn’t cope with the fight Khamzata Chimaeva.

“These are miscalculations. I am a fighter and I love to fight. I like to camp and fully prepare for situations like this, but I didn’t have time to fight to stop these takedowns. I do not give away such positions. And what’s most frustrating is that this happened because I didn’t have enough time to prepare.”

Let us remind you that Usman lost to Chimaev by majority decision.
