Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker spoke out about the upcoming fight between the ex-belt holder in the welterweight division Kamaru Usman And Khamzat Chimaev.
“I think stylistically this is a difficult fight for Kamaru. It will be difficult for him to get into his range, get closer and pin his opponent to the net.
Khamzat is big and will use kicks. Plus he's a pretty tall guy. He has a great fight to go against Usman and I have no doubt he will do it better than Leon Edwards. Chimaev has everything it takes for us to see a truly great performance from him. He can cement his name in this fight,” Whittaker said on the MMArcade podcast.
Let us remind you that the fight between Usman and Chimaev will take place on October 21 at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The meeting will be held in the middleweight division.
