UFC middleweight Khamzat Chimaev shared his opinion about the American wrestling school, noting that its level showed everyone Khabib Nurmagomedov.
“This is American wrestling—it’s very different from mountain wrestling. Do you remember what Khabib did to Gaethje? I saw a video of Gaethje fighting Usman - they were about even, 50 to 50. Maybe Usman is a little better because he's heavier. Khabib showed real wrestling skills, our skills. Everyone knows that fighting me is the same as fighting Khabib, and he showed what American wrestling is worth.”
