Fury's father shocked with his story about his son's deplorable condition before the fight with Klitschko

John Fury, father of the British WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, told what problems his son faced before the fight with the Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko.

“The bookmakers had his odds at 100 to 1, yet we knew that Tyson could beat Klitschko, and he did it at the worst moment of his life.

Tyson entered the fight mentally ill. I came to his sparring, and he was lying on the floor and crying. I then thought, “What the hell is going on here?” Then I said, “You can’t fight.” Forget everything."

Tyson answered me: “I’ve worked my whole life to get to this point. I'm the number one contender. No matter how I feel, I will fight." We came together and won, and the rest is history,” Fury Sr. revealed in an interview with DAZN Boxing.

Let us remember that in 2015, Fury sensationally defeated Klitschko by unanimous decision.
