“They asked me if I wanted to take the fight. At first I declined because the offer sucked. Then they changed something and I thought, “Okay, let’s do this.” I was sitting there, bored, so I thought I needed to focus on something. I didn’t really imagine this fight before it was offered to me.

Intermediate weight (the fight will take place at a limit of 86.15 kg - editor's note) is normal. I don’t need to cut weight and now, if everything goes right, I have a chance to enter 2024 as a contender for the light heavyweight title,” Boxing Social quotes Smith.
