Legendary former world champion in five weight categories Floyd Mayweather spoke about the dominant victory Saul Alvarez above Jermell Charlo in the main event of the boxing evening in Las Vegas.
“I respect Canelo. He’s a damn good champion and did a damn good job today,” Boxing Social quotes Mayweather as saying.
Let us remember that Alvarez defeated Charlo with a crushing decision and retained the title of absolute world champion in the second middleweight. For the star Mexican, this victory was already the third after an unexpected defeat by Dmitry Bivol in May last year.
