Pereira explained why he doesn't want to have a second fight with Strickland

Former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira explained why he is not interested in a rematch with the current title holder Sean Strickland.

“It’s not in my plans. I planned to return to middleweight if Adesanya remained champion. Perhaps I would have won the light heavyweight belt and then fought Israel again.

But now, no. Sean is my friend. Moreover, I have no desire to bring the weight up to 84 kilograms again,” Pereira said in a release on the author’s YouTube channel.
