Rakhmonov and Thompson agreed to fight at UFC 296

Shavkat Rakhmonov, the UFC's top welterweight, will fight his next fight at the organization's 296th tournament. His opponent will be Stephen Thompson. It is worth noting that this information has not yet been officially confirmed. However, both fighters agreed to the fight. Moreover, they did it publicly, on social networks.

“An offer came from the UFC, and I agreed. Rakhmonov, let's finish this year powerfully! “Can’t wait for December 16th,” Thompson wrote.

“Let’s do it,” Rakhmonov responded.
