“He’s tougher that way.” Fiziev spoke about sparring with Chimaev

Azerbaijani UFC lightweight Rafael Fiziev spoke about joint training with the undefeated Swede Khamzat Chimaev in Thailand.

“We sparred at the Tiger Muay Thai gym. I trained with him quite a bit - just one round of MMA. He didn’t want to fight me because he wanted to practice his striking. But we still struggled a little. 

He's very tough. Khamzat is tough in striking, but in wrestling he is much tougher,” Sporstkeeda quotes Fiziev. 

Let us remind you that on September 23, Fiziev will fight with Pole Mateusz Gamrot. The bout will headline UFC Fight Night 228 in Las Vegas.
