Gaethje: “I dream of ending McGregor’s career”

Former UFC interim lightweight title holder Justin Gaethje explained why the promotion's management will never allow him to be in the octagon with a former champion in two divisions Conor McGregor.

“I would be lying if I didn’t say that my dream is to end McGregor’s career and make sure that he can never step into the Octagon again.

Chandler will be the second guy that I defeated and that Conor chose as his opponent. I think this speaks for itself. McGregor will not fight with me - everything is easy and simple,” MMA Fighting quotes the American.

In his next fight, Gaethje is expected to face the winner of the title rematch between Islam Makhachevy and Charles Oliveira, which will take place on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
