Cormier explains why Jones doesn't want to fight Pavlovich and Aspinall

Daniel Cormier, a former UFC two-weight champion, explains why the promotion's reigning heavyweight champion John Jones doesn't want to fight Sergei Pavlovich And Tom Aspinall.

“Jones said that he was not interested in Pavlovich and Aspinall, because now he contrasts business with real competition. From a business standpoint, it doesn't really matter who Jones fights. He sold 700,000 pay-per-views with Cyril Gan and probably would have sold the same amount with Pavlovich and Aspinall. So what is Jones really saying? He says he just doesn't want to fight young, hard hitting, charged guys," DC said.

Recall that Jones won the UFC heavyweight championship belt by defeating Cyril Gan by choke in the first round.
